My love

In my hunting spree for a lifetime partner a fortnight ago

Was like chasing a shrewd antelope

That escaped narrowly from time to time

The moment I reached her,she eluded

And slipped Into the deep forest endangering her life to hungry Lions

And my search and heart persistent until I caught her

I held her tight and strong

She burst into a cry and remorse

Why she timidly had ran away kept her curse the day

Tears flowed and she finally spoke

Am free at last, free from Lions

Free from Cheetahs

Close and closer

Shoulder high I carried her home

To my hut

I will protect you my love

This I swore to her

For my endless- now ended search, was never

in pain
