 Teaching is known as a noble profession. Sometimes I get to ask myself "How did I  get here?" Because when I was in school I really dreaded teaching. I remember when I was in form three,the teacher of English asked us to do a presentation on a novel we were doing that time in groups; each group was to research on a given theme and present the results the next lesson. When the lesson came our group was the first to be called to do the presentation;the group leader was to do that. Unbeknownst to us, Ours was not in class that day! My group decided to shout out my name so that I would represent the group.  Our task was to do a synopsis of the novel from topic five to the last. So I was like,'How am I to stand in front of my fellow students and teach them?' I thought. 'How would the reaction be after,will they laugh or applaud?'  Teaching teenagers can be a lot of fun and at the same time boring depending on the methodology a teacher resorts to use inorder to attract their attention as well as interest. Teens as they grow up are bound to face challenges that distract them from the normal path of learning trajectory,therefore,by putting yourself into their shoe as a teacher or a caretaker you would be in a good position to understand them.  By being part and parcel of their learning process would help them have a positive attitude towards learning.  And you know what?  Attitude is the beginning of learning, a good attitude that is,to the learning environment and the teacher in general is as vital as starting a good day in the morning!  As a teacher you ought to strive on cultivating a positive attitude at all times.
